The Saturn Institute: A Vision for Sustainable Farming and Education
The Saturn Institute is a proposed state-of-the-art farming and education facility located in Pontiac, Michigan.
The institute aims to be a trade school and community center focused on modern agricultural techniques, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and innovation.
The organization has launched a capital campaign to raise $26 million for a complete build-out. However, a minimum of $5 million would allow them to get the facility up and running and grow from there.
According to President Joseph Malik, the institute could become a “state-of-the-art hub for indoor farming and education” for the city of Pontiac and the state of Michigan.
